Goof, Gather and Grow is a week-long summer program for girls, trans and non binary youth (ages 11-14), dedicated to championing goofiness, exploring the messiness of process, and building community through comedy and art focused workshops.

This summer the focus will be a Comix Workshop led by cartoonists Ariel Schrag and Rascal Smith with a showcase and reading of the kids' works at the end of the week! Throughout the week there will be guest speakers, facilitated social justice conversations, and a screen printing workshop and lots of fun!

Statement of Purpose

We believe that treating young people as the full humans they are and creating a safe space to experience the burst of self-confidence and freedom that comes from creating original material, sharing their work, expressing oneself through art and comedy, bonding, practicing mindfulness and engaging in social justice conversations with peers and mentors  builds the next generation of female and gender nonconforming individuals that will define leadership, creative innovation, and social transformation for the future.

Giving Back
